Fed Cup Germany - Ukraine 3-2

24th of April | What a weekend
The German Fed Cup team could beat Ukraine 3:2 and will be playing in the World Group 1 in 2018.

Jule won a tough match against Lesia Tsurenko 6:4,6:4 and could bring home the third point for Germany.

Jule after the match: " It was a teameffort. I am very happy and proud to win 2 matches for Germany, but every single member of this team is important and we all did it together. "

22nd of April | Great start for Germany
With a 2:0 lead after the first day, Germany opened up the gate to stay in the World Group. Julia made the start and beat in a fantastic match Jelena Switolina (WTA-Nr. 13) 4:6, 6:1, 6:4.
After that Angelique Kerber played a great match and beat Lesia Tsurenko 6:1, 6:4.

21st of April
Fed Cup Play off - Day 1 - Saturday 12 am
Jule plays the opening match against Ukrainian Number 1 Elina Svitolina and followed by is the match between Angelique Kerber and Lesia Zurenko.

18th of April  | Fed Cup Germany - Ukraine
Team captain Barbara Rittner has nominated Angelique Kerber, Laura Siegemund, Julia und Carina Witthöft for the World Group play-off tie against the Ukraine in Stuttgart on Saturday and Sunday 22nd and 23rd of April.

For the Ukraine are nominated Elina Svitolina, Lesia Tsurenko, Olga Savchuk and Nadiia Kichenok.
